Nowadays, many student at universities used online shopping rather than go the shop to buy something that they need. This may cause problem especially to the hostel management to manage the parcel receive from the postmen. Normally, the staff need to manage the parcel, separate and recognize the parcel that may include with lecturer or staff parcel and contact the student to take their parcel at the hostel office. This system committing in providing a new alternative using a web-based system by recognize the parcel using matric number to differentiate between student, staff or lecturer. Besides, student will get notification if their parcel has been reached at hostel office.
Thus, this system will solve the problem of late to take the stuff by get the notification that their stuff has reached at hostel office. Other than that, this system can solve the problem that the parcel may mixed with parcel that lecturer of staff buy. Also, this system dedicated to solve the problem of miss locate parcel and the parcel do not take from hostel office. |
Pejabat Kolej Kediaman and Pejabat Pengarah Kampus are the central mail storage for all staff and students and it is responsible in managing the mailing system. In general, both of this office will receive the mail or parcel from the courier services. The process continues by separating the mail or parcel according to lecturer, staff or students. In this study, focus given to the UniSZA Kampus Tembila especially for Kolej Kediaman Besut because all the Koiej Kediaman or campus in UniSZA experiencing the same problem in the mail management system. In addition, by implementing this system in Kolej Kedaiman Besut, it can also be adopted by other Kolej Kediaman in mailing process
